SAVE THE DATE!
We are excited to announce May 20-22, 2022, Helmsman Trawlers® will be hosting a rendezvous at the Point Hudson Marina in Port Townsend, Washington! Join us and fellow Helmsman Trawlers owners (and those with boats on order) for a weekend of fun, education, and camaraderie.
What to Expect
The town of Port Townsend is a historic Victorian seaport. Port Townsend’s strong nautical heritage is still quite apparent today, with the Northwest Maritime Center based there, the nearby Wooden Boat School, and shipyards in town – plus the recent opening of the newest Helmsman Trawlers© office!
Port Townsend is home to lots of delicious food, shops, and a farmer’s market full of local produce and crafts. Port Townsend is also home to Fort Worden Historical State Park, where you can explore the old Victorian fort and walk for miles along the beach.
While we are still in process of developing the overall itinerary, you can expect planned group events at the marina combined with free time around town.
The Logistics
Keep an eye on your email for an official invitation, and further information about the rendezvous as the date gets closer. There will be a window in March in which you will make your slip reservation directly with Point Hudson Marina using a code particular to the Helmsman Trawlers© Rendezvous group.
Can’t Make it By Boat?
If you aren’t able to boat to Port Townsend no problem! There are many places to stay that are still within walking distance of the marina. Here are a few:
